Chapter officers, staff members and former President Tina Wakolbinger received certificates for outstanding service

On May 10, 2007 we held our end of the year party at which we also recognized our Chapter Officers for their outstanding service.

At the party, our Faculty Advisor, Professor Anna Nagurney, presented plaques for outstanding service, along with thank you letters,  to the 2006-2007 INFORMS UMass Amherst Student Chapter Officers: Christian Wernz, President; Patrick Qiang, Vice President; Tara Demeyer, Secretary; Thomas Lenk, Treasurer, Baris Hasdemir and Zugang Liu, Webmasters, and Trisha Woolley, Speaker Series Coordinator. Tina Wakolbinger also received a plaque for her outstanding service over the past three years. In addition, the following staff members from the Isenberg School of Management were also recognized with plaques, which they received earlier, for all their support of the chapter: Ms. Irene Benoit, Ms. Diane Kelley, Ms. Mary Parker, Ms. Kristen Rup, and Ms. Lynda Vassallo.

Finally, the Chapter President, Christian Wernz, presented Tina Wakolbinger with a special plaque making her an "Honorary Member" of the Chapter. Tina not only revitalized the Chapter but served as President and Speaker Series Coordinator for two years. Tina will be receiving her doctorate later this month and will be assuming a tenure-track position at the University of Memphis in the Fall at the Fogelman School of Business.
